Prepare and launch your Lacelium application into production. Choose your target hosting infrastructure below for dedicated step-by-step guides covering Linux VPS, Windows Server IIS, cPanel shared hosting, or containerized Docker and Cloud PaaS platforms.

Essential Production Pre-Flight Checklist

  • Environment Mode: Set APP_ENV=production and APP_DEBUG=false in .env.
  • Optimized Autoloader: Run composer install --no-dev --optimize-autoloader.
  • Strict DocumentRoot: Ensure the web server document root points exclusively to the public/ folder, keeping application logic isolated.
  • Writable Directories: Grant write permissions for storage/ and storage/cache/ to the web server process user.
  • Nexify Real-Time Endpoint: Nexify automatically connects to your application's domain/port (e.g. wss://yourdomain.com), or set NEXIFY_PUBLIC_URL for custom CDN/proxy paths.

Target Hosting Environments

# 2. Clear stale cache files
php dipperlook cache:clear

# 3. Execute outstanding database migrations
php dipperlook migrate --force
